Halla Bol !!!

One of the different movies by RK Santoshi, where you will not find Halla Bol as title song, which is generally the norm of bollywood [the recent example being Goal, Chak de India]. I will not discuss, however, whether it is a good trend or not.


The expectations the audience [pre set in mind] may not align with the movie. It may not create the charm and charisma of likes of The legend of Bhagat Singh, Khaki which had same jodi.More or less, it makes people to understand and feel of self awareness and justice.

Ajay Devgan, Pankaj Kapur, Vidya have justified their roles. Although, the flashback was a little lengthy and a bit boring too. Moreover the abrupt ending or say the masses being awakened at one go was also a little surprising.It seemed that the director was in hurry to wrap up the film and the shots.[or else like the hero/heroine had some dates problem in last and were available for few hours only, like Kareena Kapoor was in the movie :) ]

However I am not here to discuss the the minute details of the movie like all other movie pundits/purohits and what not!!! You can find all these @ of different movie review sites or in magazines/newspapers...

I noticed one small incident [really it is small and unnoticeable] in the movie (in 2nd half), where Pankaj Kapur and Ajay Devgan were there in that gurudwara [probably Golden temple]. Pankaj Kapur after coming out from the Gurudwara, gives prasad to Ajay Devgan, both sits calmly on the stairs, and then Pankaj Kapur silently throws that paper [in which prasad was there] on stairs only, thinking it will be unnoticeable.
Although it might seem to be a petty issue [for Majority of Public], however, in spite of this, these kinds of scenes should be discouraged. Even MADF(Making A Difference Foundation), the social wing of IMT (my Institute) discourages such acts and creates awareness among budding managers. So while trying to give a bigger message, one should not forget the smaller messages, which are equally important..
I do agree commercial movies are much for entertainment, however taking these issues in considerations, will not spoil the fun.

I remember in one of the promotional advertisement of motor bike, the traffic rule was broken [the bike cleared on RED signal]...However this advertisement was rolled back instantly...

My intention of this blog is to make people aware of taking these small things in mind while at workplace or at home or at some other place, to make this WORLD a better place to live in..

In spite of all this it is a welcome change to TRY to inspire people. The Social message given by the movie is worth appreciable.Let us see to how many people it is effectively communicated to.
